gigstr vs Concert Archives
Two gig diaries, side by side
Both keep every gig you've been to, free, with no limit on how many, and both bring your history in from setlist.fm or a spreadsheet. Concert Archives has been going since 2013, runs on Android as well, and brings it in from Songkick too; its free version has ads. gigstr is newer and on iPhone, with no ads and nothing to buy. It also rates every night out of 10, which Concert Archives' listing doesn't mention.

Which one
Pick Concert Archives if…
- You're on Android.
- You want your Songkick history brought across.
- You want a bucket list and group meetups.
- You post lots of photos and video publicly.
Pick gigstr if…
- You want every night rated out of 10, and the parts that made it.
- You like the setlist called before the night and checked after.
- You want your next gig counting down on your Home Screen.
- You'd rather have no ads and nothing to buy.
Concert Archives' listing doesn't mention ratings or Home Screen widgets.
Moving across
Add your past gigs from a spreadsheet: another app's export, or your own sheet with the artist, venue and date. gigstr also brings in every gig you've marked on setlist.fm and, on iPhone, the gigs in your calendar. You see the whole list before anything is added, and the setlists follow over the next few nights.
